Bank Executive Leaders
Chris Holmes
President and CEO of FirstBank
Mr. Holmes is responsible for leading and managing all facets of the bank’s operations, including
establishing long-term goals, strategies and corporate vision. Away from the office, he enjoys
traveling and spending time with his wife, Susan, and their three daughters. He also enjoys
hunting, snow skiing and playing golf.
Scott Tansil
Chief Operations Officer
Scott Tansil focuses on identifying, assessing, and prioritizing growth and improvement
opportunities. In this role, Scott has responsibility for all bank operations including consumer/
commercial loan operations, deposit operations, and treasury management operations.
Scott has called Nashville home since graduating from Belmont University, where he received
his B.S. in Accounting.
Michael Mettee
CFO | Banking
Michael Mettee provides accounting, capital markets, treasury, investment portfolio, finance,
planning and analysis support to the Bank’s President and CEO, Regional Presidents, Market
Presidents and Community Bank Presidents to assist in driving overall performance and
accountability for our banking markets, individually and collectively, through execution of the
strategic plan of the Company. Prior to his role as CFO, Mettee was CFO, Banking, Director of
Capital Markets and managed the interest rate risk for FirstBank and supported multiple lines
of business including the Commercial Bank, Retail Mortgage, Third Party Mortgage Originations
and Consumer Direct Mortgage. Mettee is actively involved in the community in Franklin,
Tennessee where he currently resides with his wife, daughter, and 2 sons.
Hannah Marcoe
Executive Assistant
Hannah Marcoe currently serves as Executive Assistant to Scott Tansil, Chief Operations
Officer of FirstBank. In this role, she provides comprehensive support to executive leadership
and contributes to strategic initiatives across the organization. Prior to joining FirstBank,
Hannah worked at the Nashville Opera, where she led the Education Department and oversaw
the company’s flagship community and student engagement programs. Her work focused
on program development, outreach, and building meaningful partnerships to expand the
organization’s impact. Hannah brings a background in administration, project management,
and event coordination to her role at FirstBank. She is committed to fostering collaboration,
enhancing organizational efficiency, and supporting the success of executive leadership.
